Prof. Eran Goldin, Director of the Gastroenterology Institute at Hadassah Hospital in Jerusalem, Israel.
Main Research Interests and publications include:
- The impact of stress and the prevention of fibrosis in Inflammatory Bowel Diseases
- The influence of Diabetes on Gastrointestinal disorders
- Studies in proctologic diseases and new advances in digestive endoscopy, including bio-technological developments.
Education: Prof. Goldin is a graduate of the Cordoba Medical School, in Cordoba, Argentina. In 1974 he arrived in Israel and specialized in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology at Hadassah University Hospital. In 1984, he went through additional training at the Academic Medical Hospital of the University of Amsterdam, in Invasive Endoscopy and ERCP
Prof. Goldin was appointed Director of the Gastroenterology Service of the Department of Medicine, Hadassah Hospital, in 1990.
He is currently Associate Professor of Medicine at the Hebrew University and visiting Professor at Barcelona University.
He is the Chairman of the Israeli Digestive Endoscopic Association
